The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine supported the resolution on the liberalization of transportation of oversized and heavy cargo, which introduces European standards regarding dimensional and weight restrictions. The approved document details and clarifies the maximum permissible axle loads depending on the number of axles and the inter-axle distance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For normal trucks, the maximum values \u200b\u200bof actual mass on state roads include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

📌18 tons – for 2-axle cars;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

📌 25 tons – for 3-axle cars; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

📌32 tons – for 4-axle cars; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

📌38 tons – for 4-axle cars (with two steering axles, leading axles and equipped with paired wheels). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Norms have also been established for tractors with semi-trailers. (combined), the maximum values \u200b\u200bof the actual mass on state roads provide for:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

☑️36 tons – for 2-axle tractors with 2-axle semi-trailer; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

☑️40 tons – for 2-axle tractors with 3-axle semi-trailer;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

☑️40 tons – for 3-axle tractors with 2-axle or 3-axle semi-trailer; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

☑️42 tons \u2013 for 2-axle tractors with a 3-axle semi-trailer carrying one or more containers or mixed bodies, with a maximum length of 13,716 m (container trucks); <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

☑️44 tons – for 3-axle tractors with 2-axle or 3-axle semi-trailers, which transport one or more containers or mixed bodies, with a maximum length of 13.716 m (container trucks). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As the ministry emphasized, the transition to European standards became possible thanks to the technical characteristics of the new Ukrainian highways. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
