Poland canceled veterinary control for Ukrainian agricultural products that transit to Polish ports or to other countries. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Veterinary control is one of the reasons for long queues at the border with Poland. Drivers could expect more than 10 days to pass the inspection, and its cancellation will reduce the waiting time by three to four times.
The simplified procedure for crossing the border will apply to WHEAT, RYE, BARLEY, OATS, CORN, SORGHUM, PEAS, SOYBEANS, CANOLA AND SUNFLOWER SEEDS, BRAN, BREAD, ETC.
Carriers who have already registered in the electronic queue for veterinary control at the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint need:
* check whether the cargo is subject to the simplified procedure: whether it is in the list of goods (codes) for which such control has been canceled, and whether it is going through Poland in transit or to a Polish port;
*cancel registration in the queue for veterinary control, if the product is on the list;
*on the website echerha.gov.ua, join the general “Yagodin-Dorogusk” eQueue.
Users of eQuery, whose goods did not fall under the simplified procedure, will continue to have to wait for the crossing of the border in the queue for veterinary control.
IMPORTANTLY
– The representative of the State Customs Service of Ukraine will stamp the CMR. Without this mark in the document, the Polish customs will open the cars and send them back to Ukraine.
– On the Polish side, trucks with transit goods will be sealed after border and customs control.
