The route leads to the newly built crossing point with Poland “Nyzhankovychy-Malchovice”.
During the current renovation:
→ widened the carriageway,
→ 46 km of road surface was restored,
→ drainage was made and reinforced concrete pipes were replaced,
→ installed storm drains, sidewalks and outdoor lighting,
→ installed means to calm traffic, markings, barriers and road signs,
→ 12 bridge crossings were repaired and rebuilt.
Nyzhankovychy – Sambir – Drohobych – Stryi is one of the four border roads that are being repaired within the framework of the international project to develop the border road infrastructure at the approaches to checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
Repair of the T-14-18 road started in May 2021. For it, the Polish government granted Ukraine a loan in the amount of 19.5 million euros
