On September 5, transporters protested in the area of the Dorogusk-Yagodin border crossing of the Khelm district. The road to the protest site is blocked. Traffic is carried out on the access road.
Truck drivers pass two cars every hour: one with goods and one empty.
Polish carriers are protesting and demanding the creation of separate queues for trucks leaving Ukraine without goods. They also require the services to carry out more effective checks at the border, restore permits for Ukrainian carriers, and introduce 24-hour phytosanitary and veterinary inspection. In addition, the protesters threaten that if their demands are not met, the blockade will continue and cover further border crossings with Ukraine.
It is important that a large number of carriers are engaged in humanitarian transport, and these transports return empty, and then their drivers stand in queues of many kilometers to the border. It is currently unknown how long the protest will last.
